On Saturday September 9 there was an International show at Sofiero in Helsingborg. Sofiero is a wonderful show place when the weather is nice! And this year the weather was beautiful. When you stood at the bichon ring and prepared dogs for the show one had a wonderful view when looking out over the water over to the Danish side and the city Helsingör. The castle on the Danish side was also to be seen so it was just a beautiful place to be at! To the show we had TEN bichons entered; nine to be shown in the breed and Berit (Ch H-F’s When Trumpets Fade) that was going to compete in progeny class with her off-springs. As you can understand we spent most of Friday to prepare dogs for Saturday’s show… A lot of our puppy buyers and friends came to Sofiero to watch the judging and have fun with the rest of us! Unfortunately we didn’t have time to talk so much once the judging started since we were quite busy to show dogs! But before the judging we had time to talk and have coffee and cake together. All our puppy buyers had been working hard and had brought different things for us all to eat at the show – it was really good! Before the finals we ate lunch together with consisted of meat balls, potato salad, vegetables, bread and so on! What a party. We thank all these wonderful people who helped arrange this special meal at the show and the fact that all were happy made the day even better! We had so many dogs that we needed help to show them all and we thank Malin Sjöstedt and Evelina Bååth for all their help.
